HIGHLIGHTS:
- APT-O-LITE
Panels are constructed of a rigid 1 1/2", 2", and 3"
thick core of 2 1/2-3 lb. density U.L. Class I polyisocyanurate/polyurethane
sandwiched between two outer skins of 0.032" (minimum) embossed
aluminum.
- The polyurethane
core is expanded-in-place vertically from the bottom of the panel
to ensure a completely purged core, free of any voids, for maximum
panel performance.
- The closed
cell foam insulation is non-absorptive and will not support mold
or mildew growth.
- Other gauges
and combinations of smooth aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized
steel, paint-grip steel, or pre-finished metal may be used as
panel skins.
- The panels
are joined by no-thru metal extruded aluminum structural members,
specifically designed to ensure an insulated, air-tight joint
while simultaneously reinforcing the panels for high pressure
and high loading applications.
- All
panel
joints are sealed air and watertight with a specially formulated
silicone sealer and will be mechanically fastened with drill point
screws or pop rivets.
- Where sound
absorption is required, panel surfaces may be acoustically treated
by the addition of a 2" thickness of acoustical fiber enclosed
in a perforated aluminum liner.
For outdoor installations, a one-piece blanket
membrane roofing system, sized to cover the entire enclosure, can
be provided. The roofing system will include all necessary adhesives,
sealers, and trim pieces as required for a complete installation
by the contractor.
A
complete package including piece-marked panels, extruded joiners,
trim angles, fasteners, sealer, and detailed erection drawings is
provided. For applications requiring additional structural reinforcement,
structural supports can be recommended for installation by the contractor. |
